Job Description: This job is responsible for supporting accurate and complete financial reporting for specific legal entities and consolidating results. Key responsibilities include facilitating month-end close, posting journal entries, monitoring and resolving out-of-balance intercompany receivables/payables, reviewing the trial balance to address anomalies, and preparing internal/external reporting with commentaries. Job expectations include planning and preparing for each monthly close cycle and the timely execution of all required tasks while maintaining a strong control environment. Part of the Corporate Controllers Group, Reg W Finance team, this job is responsible for supporting accurate and complete financial reporting for Regulation W covered transactions across the enterprise. Key responsibilities include facilitating daily, monthly, quarterly reporting, monitoring and resolving variances, reviewing the 23A database to address anomalies, and preparing internal/external reporting with commentaries. Job expectations include planning and preparing for each reporting cycle and the timely execution of all required tasks while maintaining a strong control environment. Also exposure to enterprise affiliate list and various projects, audits and examinations. Works with central 23A database and emerging tech reporting tools. Reg W is a Federal banking regulation that applies globally to the Company. It is designed to limit certain covered transactions (as defined in the Reg W Policy) between Banks and Affiliates in order to protect a Bank from exposure to losses by its Affiliates. Reg W also governs transactions between Banks and Third Parties that may benefit an Affiliate (attribution).
