About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior FinOps Cloud Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing cloud financial operations, ensuring cost-effective cloud usage, and providing actionable insights to drive financial efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of cloud services, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams. This position reports into the Sr. Manager, Product and Technology Enablement and is to be based in Austin, TX. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.

Requirements

• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in cloud financial management, cloud operations, or a related role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and financial management tools such as Pigment and G-suite products
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze cloud usage and spending across all cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure optimal cost efficiency
• Develop and maintain cloud budgets and forecasts, providing regular updates and insights to stakeholders
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities, including rightsizing, reserved instances, and other optimization strategies
• Generate detailed financial and usage reports, presenting findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders
• Develop and enforce cloud cost management policies and best practices to ensure compliance and financial accountability during weekly Cloud meetings
• Work closely with engineering, operations, and finance teams to align cloud spending with business objectives and financial goals
• Utilize cloud financial management tools and platforms to track, analyze, and optimize cloud costs
