Kodiak Robotics, Inc. was founded in 2018 and has become a leader in autonomous ground transportation committed to a safer and more efficient future for all. The company has developed an artificial intelligence (AI) powered technology stack purpose-built for commercial trucking and the public sector. The company delivers freight daily for its customers across the southern United States using its autonomous technology. In 2024, Kodiak became the first known company to publicly announce delivering a driverless semi-truck to a customer. Kodiak is also leveraging its commercial self-driving software to develop, test and deploy autonomous capabilities for the U.S. Department of Defense. We are looking for Field Technicians to join us in maintaining and repairing our vehicles out in the Permian Basin in West Texas. In this role, you will: Be responsible for maintenance and modifications to autonomous vehicle platforms, including trucks, trailers, and autonomous systems Repair modular and sub-systems and related harnesses on the bench and in-vehicle Inspect and certify the operational health of trucks, trailers, and Autonomous Vehicle platforms Work closely with design and validation engineers to aid in the development of hardware systems Execute work according to scheduled preventative maintenance and demand of related upkeep programs Support material staging and workflow readiness for remote tasks and field based teams Provide technical coverage when needed in other locations Maintain a safe and clean work environment Coordinate the replenishment and distribution of consumed items used in maintaining vehicle operations.
