We offer: Flexible working hours Professional onboarding and training options Powerful team looking forward to working with you Career coaching and development opportunities Health benefits 401(k) Company vehicle Reporting to the Equipment Services Manager, the Field Service Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality of processes and products by performing customer field audits, inspections, tests, defect analysis, trend analysis, programming & troubleshooting inspection equipment, calibration maintenance, and reporting on results of measurement standards. This position is part of the Field Service team located in Phoenix, Arizona, US and will be onsite. The candidate can expect to primarily support a customer base in a 2- to 6- hour radius around Phoenix; however, travel to support customers in New Mexico and Colorado will be required sporadically throughout the year (i.e., 8 weeks out of the year). In this role, a typical day will look like: • Performing routine maintenance on USP owned equipment. • Troubleshooting equipment like pumps, VFDs, electrical circuits, and electronic instruments. • Utilizing office software to order parts, generate service reports, book travel accommodations, update equipment documentation, schedule workload in an effect and timely manner, all in accordance with USP/Veralto policies. • Responding to emergency and service requests. • Supporting installation and demobilization of USP owned equipment. • Performing routine site clean-up and upkeep. • Utilizing office software to complete routine training. • Supporting other regions occasionally. The essential requirements of the job include: • High school diploma required. • Minimum 5 years’ experience in field equipment service, chemical pump service and maintenance. • Proficient in: Chemical metering/industrial chemical pump repair and maintenance; Plumbing installation and repair (including PVC and stainless-steel tubing); 120/208 vac single and three phase electrical circuits; Electrical troubleshooting tools. • Knowledge of 4-20 mA loops and digital/discrete signal loops. • Fundamental understanding of the following instrumentation: flowmeters, level sensors, VFDs, pressure transducers, RTDs, thermocouples, and similar field instrumentation. • Read and understand electrical schematics, P&IDs, Process flow diagrams, BOMs and other associated engineering and installation documentation. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The compensation range for this role is $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus / Incentive Pay. Requirements
