Location: Hopkins, SC Job Summary: The Primary responsibility of the Senior Field Service Technician is to service and repair the company’s mechanical equipment including pumps, generators and related heavy equipment. The Field Service Technician must be self-motivated with the ability to work remote with minimal supervision, servicing pumps in Savannah, GA, Charleston, SC and Columbia, SC.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet job requirements.
  • Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
  • Ability to work effectively with others.
  • Ability to multi-task in a changing environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet job requirements.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Appropriate equipment repair certification desired
  • Experience in servicing and repairing pumps is desired.
  • Experience with electric motors a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Servicing, repairing, and maintaining the company’s diesel pumps, fleet and mechanical equipment
  • Performing quality checks on repaired equipment items
  • Maintaining service order processes, providing descriptions of repairs and maintenance on mechanical equipment, and ensuring the appropriate paperwork is filed.
  • Performing repairs and maintenance on equipment at job sites when needed
  • Procuring parts and supplies as required
  • Train new hires/current mechanic team
  • Participate in a rotational “on call” system to meet customer demands after hours and on weekends as required.
