About The Position

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is currently looking for a Field Service Engineer (Emilia Romagna), who will have the possibility to conduct service, repair and/or installation of products or IT solutions at customer site, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts. The role involves diagnosing system failures and determining the most cost-effective solution, escalating complex issues to a greater level of technical support or quality reporting system, and may involve developing new customer service/product agreements. The engineer will respond to customer support calls within an assigned territory and will demonstrate the ability to utilize critical thinking and analysis to make decisions, solve problems, and implement solutions. Effective communication and empathy with customers, colleagues, and collaborators are essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferable or Biotech Technical/Electronic Secondary School Diploma.
• Proficient English is mandatory.
• Open to travel (driving license is mandatory).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills both in English and in Italian.
• Able to work autonomously and be a team player.

Responsibilities
