About The Position

The Senior Field Security Investigator will be responsible for conducting investigations into suspected fraud or illegal activities against the company. This role involves interviewing witnesses, performing database inquiries, and evaluating information to determine its credibility. The investigator will also coordinate with outside agencies and provide training and support to various departments in the claims handling process.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
• 3+ years of claims adjusting experience, or P&C SIU/Fraud Investigation experience, or 4 years of prior investigative law enforcement experience.
• Experience handling in-person or phone statements from various parties in an investigation.
• Ability to gather a broad range of evidence related to an investigation and draw conclusions based on the information collected.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize heavy claim volume workloads and stressful situations.
• Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
• Ability to document files in a clear, concise, professional written manner.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license and necessary certifications.
• Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment as needed.

Nice To Haves

• 4-year Degree or higher.
• Current or prior SIU investigations experience working in diverse teams.
• Experience handling complex fraud cases and/or rings.
• Knowledge of public record systems and claims databases.
• Related professional designations (e.g. CIFI, CFE, FCLA, CPCU).
