This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Field Environmental Compliance Coordinator (Field-Based). Join our Earth & Environment Team and support major construction projects across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. This position plays a key field role ensuring environmental compliance during active construction, working directly with contractors, field inspectors, and project leadership. This role provides hands-on environmental oversight, field data interpretation, and construction-phase environmental compliance support. Work includes erosion and sediment control inspections, trenching/backfilling oversight, HDD monitoring, restoration compliance, and coordination with PADEP, NJDEP, and conservation districts. Responsibilities focus on ensuring construction activities meet environmental requirements, identifying and resolving field compliance issues, tracking site progress, and ensuring high-quality documentation. Your Impact Oversee field-based environmental inspection teams assigned to construction projects segments in PA and NJ. Manage environmental inspectors conducting erosion and sediment control monitoring, HDD oversight, trenching/backfilling inspection, and compressor station environmental controls. Review and quality-check daily field reports prior to submission to the ECC. Ensure corrective actions are identified, assigned, and closed out per PADEP and NJDEP requirements. Coordinate directly with contractor foremen and construction managers to resolve field compliance issues. Track field progress, access limitations, and schedule risks related to environmental requirements.
