The Field Engineer will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of project closeout, including redlines, test audits, lessons learned, warranties, and product submittals. The role involves ensuring that all infrastructure is installed according to design specifications and managing the redlining process for changes in the scope of work. The Field Engineer will also be involved in verifying fiber and copper installations, conducting audits, and maintaining documentation related to lessons learned and warranties. Additionally, the Field Engineer will assist in product submittals and label printing for installation teams.

  • Closeout of projects
  • Managing redlines and submitting changes to the scope of work
  • Verifying infrastructure installation to design specifications
  • Using internal trackers for fiber and copper installations
  • Conducting test audits and ensuring compliance with project specifications
  • Updating lessons learned documentation throughout the project
  • Gathering information for warranty processing
  • Completing product submittals and verifying BOM with POs
  • Printing labels for installation teams
  • Overseeing RFIs and ensuring proper documentation
  • Verifying and submitting design shop drawings
  • Must have at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3-4 years of commercial low-voltage/structured cabling experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and project documents
  • Must be self-motivated and professional
  • Competitive hourly wage ranging from USD $42.00 to $47.00
