About The Position

The Field Sustainment Engineer (FSE) position at Lockheed Martin involves supporting the CASS/eCASS Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) for the Royal Malaysian Air Force in Penang, Malaysia. This role requires relocation and focuses on performance verification testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of test equipment, while ensuring compliance with technical and operational standards. The FSE will work under general supervision, contributing to a team dedicated to operational excellence in the aerospace and defense sector.

Requirements

  • Active Secret security clearance with last reinvestigation completed within the last five years.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting computer hardware and software failures.
  • Ability to physically handle up to 45 pounds for asset removal/installation.
  • Experience using engineering drawings and technical data.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to establish positive relationships.
  • Flexible team player with ability to multi-task under time constraints.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with general supervision.
  • Proficient in MS Office Software including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Automated Test Equipment maintenance or test integration, particularly CASS/RTCASS/eCASS.
  • Understanding of Automatic Test Systems (ATS) and their functional interactions.
  • Experience with CASS Self-Maintenance (SMAT) test routines and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform annual performance verification testing for the CASS product line.
  • Troubleshoot and repair station asset failures.
  • Remove and/or install stations at the customer site as directed by program management.
  • Create and maintain performance and maintenance records within the Automated Depot Information System (ADIS).
  • Order, receive, and ship CASS assets using ADIS.
  • Maintain control and maintenance of system test kit materials, including cables and adapters.
  • Handle and calibrate all required support equipment needed for the job.
  • Utilize technical and engineering data for problem analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Work flexible hours to meet on-site customer requirements, including first or second shifts.
  • Handle classified assets in accordance with local declassification procedures.
