The Opportunity In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives. We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our rapidly growing clinical team within the Abbott Electrophysiology (EP) division. This position will support our Field Clinical Team focusing on Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO). We are seeking an experienced Field Clinical Specialist (FCS). Primary responsibilities will include outstanding management of Pre and Post market Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO) clinical trial execution in an assigned territory. In this role, the FCS supports internal and external customers and cross-functional teams. This FCS position works closely with Global Clinical Affairs (GCA) including the Medical Director and Program Management, Global Clinical Organization (GCO) field personnel, and Abbott’s Commercial LAAO team. This position has significant interaction with Study Investigators, Research Coordinators, Physician Assistants, and Nurses. This position is required to execute their job responsibilities within established corporate policies and standard operating procedures Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.
