The Senior Facility Project Manager will plan and oversee capital and expense projects with high visibility. These include workplace modernizations, tenant improvements, critical system replacements, and other facility projects, and requires giving work direction to cross-functional teams and third-party service providers. Budget, scope, and project plan development is essential, along with clear communication to all levels of associates. You will be part of the transformation of Jack Henry's Real Estate & Facility Management department, focused on efficiency, transparency, and quality. This position is hybrid and will require you to come into the office 2 days a week for team meetings and collaboration sessions and as required by your leader for project execution. The position will be filled to work out of one of the following Jack Henry office locations: Springfield, MO / Monett, MO / Allen, TX or Lenexa, KS. All positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 6 years of experience in facility project management in handling the following types of projects: construction, facility operations, workplace, tenant improvements and or critical systems.
  • Proven problem solving and communication skills.
  • Experience in scope, budget, timeline, and report creation.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% for off-site project execution.

  • Additional construction management or facilities management certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
  • Develop long-term capital plan to align with organizational strategy.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of facility projects including construction, tenant improvements, critical system replacements, space decommissioning, etc.
  • Select, negotiate, and manage contracts with contractors, engineers, and other consultants.
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with safety and building codes.
  • Provide estimated project costs for annual capital and expense budgets.
  • Monitor project expenditures, forecast costs, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates, risk mitigation, and issue resolution.
  • Provide regular reporting to leadership and stakeholders.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.
