About The Position

Motivated and dependable team of professionals that manage ResMed M anufacturing sites and offices ’ facilities. The primary role of ResMed Facilities Management function is to efficiently support the operation of ResMed’s facilities so as to support day-to-day operations and to minimize operational downtime . This include providing safe, effective, efficient and responsive services to all areas of the business, covering facility and production. You will supervise and manage facility related services to achieve the company’s goals and objectives with respect to: Responsible for day to day operations and monitoring of all facilities’ equipment to minimise downtime. Maintenance of building’s facilities operations and provide technical input on gaps/ improvement .

Requirements

  • Diploma in Engineering (Electrical) or Facility Management (with Electrical) with 5+ years of facility management hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment , OR NITEC in Engineering (Electrical) or Facility Management (with Electrical) with 8+ years of facility management hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Independent and resilient to resolve issues.
  • Proactive at work with good interpersonal and customer-centric skills, positive attitude and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good follow-up and communication skills.
  • G ood knowledge with hands-on experience of mechanical and electrical services, troubleshooting, operations, repairs, preventive and predictive maintenance and spares management.
  • Able to work under pressure and multi-task.
  • Able work OT and on shifts (as and when needs arise), beyond normal working hours and weekends/public holiday.
  • Basic Excel, Word and PowerPoint office .
  • Be on 24/7 standby and response promptly to call.

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed LEW (license electrical worker) preferred.
  • Licensed forklift & scissorlift operator preferred.
  • WAH supervisor preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ISO14001 and ISO45001 GMP practices or cleanroom/controlled environment operation preferred.
  • Working knowledge of CMMS preferred

Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventive maintenance for various mechanical & electrical equipment (s), but not limited to: Electrical Systems, Fire Protection and Detection Systems, HVAC Systems, Building Management System & Centralised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) , Environment Monitoring System, Compressed Air Systems, Plumbing & Sanitary system, Security system and FM soft services.
  • Carry out troubleshooting/repair to electrical and mechanical system , general building works as well as handyman task s .
  • Coordinate, supervise and follow-up closely with contractors on preventive maintenance and rectification to resolve facilities issues .
  • Ensure preventive maintenance schedule of all facilities’ equipment is adhered and completed, which include contractors adhering and delivering their services.
  • Conduct timely inspections of all facility & building equipment(s) and ensure it’s proper functionality.
  • Ensure all facilities’ equipment that require license/permit are timely renewed.
  • Monitor facilities’ equipment spare-parts & inventory for timely replenishment.
  • Prompt respon se to emergency calls in respect to facilities breakdown , that include after office hours presence to support operation and maintenance activities. 24/7 standby.
  • Work closely with various function to meet quality, regulatory, safety, operation and maintenance requirement.
  • Perform any other duties, responsibilities and projects as assigned.
