The Senior Facilities Project Manager reports directly to the Chief Facilities Management Officer (CFMO) to establish consensus on capital and special construction project objectives at Mount Nittany Medical Center (MNMC) and Off-Site Locations. Achieves these objectives by establishing, actively managing, and leading the project team of design professionals, leadership, user groups, contractors and members of Facilities and Plant Operations. Integrates or coordinates the project management process throughout each of its phases (preparatory, initial and follow-up). The Senior Facilities Project Manager strategizes and generates ideas around facility projects that effectively enhance the patient’s experience.

  • Establish consensus on capital and special construction project objectives.
  • Manage and lead the project team of design professionals, leadership, user groups, contractors, and Facilities and Plant Operations members.
  • Integrate or coordinate the project management process throughout all phases.
  • Strategize and generate ideas around facility projects to enhance patient experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, construction management, or engineering.
  • Master of Business Administration preferred.
  • Five years of facilities project management experience, preferably with an acute care health center.
  • Experience with successful capital planning and project budgeting.
  • Experience and training with Project Management Software, BIM, and Revit.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, work independently, and manage multiple projects across multiple locations.
  • Thorough knowledge of various PC applications including PowerPoint, Excel, database applications, process flow diagramming applications, electronic mail, and word processing.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • ASHE certification.
  • Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) is a plus.
