About The Position

Requirements

  • Skill in using Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
  • Extensive knowledge of facilities management principles and practices.
  • Ability to supervise staff, programs, and budgets.
  • Knowledge of contract administration related to facilities and construction.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple complex projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of trades technicians and contractors for the Lynchburg District.
  • Plan and direct the activities of the district's facilities functions.
  • Provide oversight of facilities through hired contractors for construction, alterations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Prioritize district facility needs and spending allocations.
  • Develop the district's 6-year capital outlay plan and budget.
  • Plan and initiate projects to improve, maintain, and construct facilities.
  • Oversee district security operations.
