Role We are looking for a Senior Facilities Engineer to join our People & Culture team. Based in our San Jose, CA headquarters (onsite Monday-Friday), this role reports to the Senior Manager, Americas Workplace Operations. You will support our company's growth and drive innovation with collaborative and engaging workspaces. You will be responsible for the technical integrity, safety, and efficiency of our mission-critical and non-critical infrastructure, ensuring building systems generate a productive and secure environment.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in workplace solutions, facilities engineering, or similar roles with a focus on program management
  • Proven experience in managing mission-critical infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical distribution, and life-safety systems
  • Demonstrated expertise in vendor management, facilities budget development, and contract oversight
  • Experience managing SOP, MOP, and EOP programs and leading emergency response efforts
  • Experience with BMS/BAS platforms and CMMS tools for maintenance tracking

  • A Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, business administration, engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Direct end-to-end operations and maintenance for critical building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), serving as the senior escalation lead for mission-critical outages
  • Manage operational budgets and the full procurement lifecycle while supervising third-party contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Drive system longevity and efficiency through rigorous preventive maintenance programs and the use of advanced digital platforms like BAS/BMS
  • Champion workplace safety and compliance by leading emergency response teams, managing hazardous materials (IATA), and maintaining rigorous site-level operating procedures
  • Foster a culture of excellence by mentoring technical teams and partnering cross-functionally on energy management initiatives and large-scale infrastructure upgrades
