Join our team in Louisville, KY, as a Senior Facilities Engineer and take full ownership of maintaining and improving the physical equipment in a dynamic production environment.

  • Serve as the go-to expert on plant infrastructure, troubleshooting facility systems, and optimizing layout connections.
  • Provide technical leadership and direct maintenance operations to ensure peak efficiency.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and boost productivity.
  • Drive improvements in safety, quality, labor efficiency, and cost controls through Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Spearhead equipment upgrades, capital expense justifications, and process standardization.
  • Lead root-cause troubleshooting of PLCs, ladder logic, Ethernet communication, and automation systems.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate advanced manufacturing practices and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs.
  • Mentor, train, and support maintenance employees to maximize performance and technical proficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical experience).
  • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting expertise, including PLC diagnostics.
  • Proven ability to lead maintenance teams, manage projects, and drive operational efficiency.
  • Previous supervisory experience and/or experience working directly with high volume manufacturing Production Operations and Union Operators.
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing, working with Union Operators.
  • Solid computer skills (Microsoft Suite, PLC programming, automation software).
  • Leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to support 24/7 manufacturing operations, including occasional off-shift, on-call, and weekend work.
  • Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations or maintenance supervision.
  • Experience in design, tooling, or new product launches, a plus.
  • Skilled in managing Union trades teams.
