Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 6+ years of façade engineering or building-envelope experience in a consulting environment.
  • Strong technical command of a vast diversity of façade, envelope, waterproofing, roofing, or specialty enclosure systems.
  • Ability to independently solve complex technical problems and guide project decisions.
  • Clear communication, coordination skills, and a demonstrated interest in developing others.

Responsibilities

  • Manage façade and building envelope consulting projects and work directly with clients/architects
  • Lead advanced façade analyses, including structural behavior, thermal performance, moisture/condensation, and system movement.
  • Develop and refine detailed façade designs, BIM models, and technical documentation.
  • Provide technical direction on system selection, performance criteria, materials, and constructability.
  • Coordinate directly with architects, specialty contractors, and suppliers to ensure integrated, buildable solutions.
  • Support early design discussions, proposals, and client meetings as you expand your external presence.
  • Mentor and review the work of junior engineers, helping them build analysis and detailing skills.
  • Contribute to internal innovation by exploring new façade materials, digital workflows, and emerging performance approaches.
