About The Position
The Senior Experience Designer is a pivotal member of the Experience Design and Research (XDR) team at Aledade. This multidisciplinary team is dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of primary care practices to improve health outcomes for their patients through thoughtfully crafted technology. The role emphasizes the importance of understanding the needs of clinicians, practice staff, internal Aledade teams, and patients, ensuring that the design of Aledade's products and services seamlessly integrates into their existing environments and workflows. As a Senior Experience Designer, you will be instrumental in gaining deep insights into the practices and patients we serve, developing empathy for their daily challenges, and creating digital interfaces and service workflows that simplify the complexities of value-based care. Your work will be guided by Aledade's core values, which include community, joy, evidence-based experiences, inclusive design, sustainability, and exploration. In this role, you will focus on the visual design aspects of your craft while collaborating with generalist product designers on the team. You will also work closely with the design system team to help establish the quality standards for components used throughout Aledade's product ecosystem. Your contributions will not only enhance the user experience but also support the overall mission of Aledade to empower independent primary care practices. The position requires a collaborative spirit, as you will partner with Product Management, Engineering, Practice Adoption, and other stakeholders to identify user problems and shape effective solutions. You will gather, articulate, and visualize key concepts and patterns through storyboards, user journey maps, and other tools to drive cross-functional alignment and facilitate decision-making. Your deliverables will include user flows, low-fidelity prototypes, high-fidelity design comps, and detailed specifications for high-quality digital workflows that fit within broader end-to-end service experiences. Additionally, you will support engineering delivery with comprehensive design documentation and rationale, ensuring that the intended user experience is realized in the final product. Your role will also involve contributing to the evolution of Aledade's Experience Design & Research practice, playbook, and knowledge base.
