About The Position

The Senior EXIM Import Export Analyst at RTX Corporation plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with U.S. export and import regulations. This remote position involves conducting technical assessments, managing projects, and providing guidance on export controls. The analyst will collaborate with various teams to classify products and support the Global Trade organization, contributing to the overall mission of the company to enhance national security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of prior professional experience, or 9 years of professional experience in absence of a degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with the U.S. Government U.S. Munitions List (USML) and Commerce Control List (CCL).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access).
• Experience with JCA Tools (e.g., OCR, xClass) and/or CommonPDM (cPDM)/Windchill.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive technical assessments related to export or import controls to ensure compliance with government regulations.
• Manage small projects and act as a Strategic Business Unit (SBU) point of contact.
• Provide guidance on U.S. Export Controls, including policies, procedures, and classifications.
• Assist with complex Export Classifications with minimal oversight from management.
• Respond to JCA questions and information requests from U.S. Government agencies.
• Initiate and coordinate Technical Exchanges with Engineering/Global Trade to address complex topics.
• Interface with engineering and non-technical disciplines to ensure compliant export classification.
• Contribute to team goals and assist in managing bids and financial planning.
