Let’s be #BrilliantTogether ISS STOXX Investor Solutions is looking for a dynamic Senior Event Marketing Associate responsible for helping to drive the planning, execution and the successful delivery of events and webcasts in North America. This person will collaborate closely with all teams and executives across our Investment Stewardship Business. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a successful track record of supporting both live and virtual events. The Senior Event Marketing Associate thrives in a fast-paced, strategic environment. Time management, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with and across teams are essential.

  • Meet, plan, outline and project manage events with stakeholders to gain an understanding of the event's purpose and goals
  • Coordinate event logistics and services, including compliance approval, technology and equipment, food and beverages and more
  • Ensure the events stay within guidelines and budget
  • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple webcasts, conferences, and events simultaneously
  • Create and send event marketing communications/invitations via email
  • Support online event registration platforms including coordinating the development of registration websites
  • Send and track correspondence with speakers, panelists and third-party event organizers
  • Data entry and daily administrative functions
  • Create online surveys and prepare post-event reports to evaluate effectiveness of events
  • Assist with management of external sponsored conferences, including but not limited to, managing deadlines, ordering promotional materials and ordering/shipping promotional materials
  • Physical presence at events when required
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 5 years of proven event planning experience ideally in financial services
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Experience in planning or coordinating events for large organizations is preferred
  • Effective written and communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects independently and simultaneously, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities and timelines
  • Ability to liaise across the organization at all levels and capable of managing internal & external relationships
  • A genuine team player who believes in the power of collaborative work and interacts with co-workers in a collegial and respectful manner
  • Proficiency in MS Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom, and HubSpot
  • Strong understanding of finance industry dynamics, terminology and regulatory landscape is desired but not required
