About The Position

Komodo Health is looking for a Senior Events Manager to join our Marketing team, reporting to the Head of Revenue Marketing. This person will own the event experience function—bringing Komodo's presence to life at major healthcare and life sciences industry conferences, company-hosted field events, and our flagship Komodo Summit. At Komodo, we approach events as three interconnected disciplines: experience (this role), content (product marketing), and promotion (revenue marketing). As the owner of experience, you'll be responsible for how our brand shows up in person, how attendees feel at every touchpoint, and how we design live interactions that drive real business outcomes. You'll work closely with colleagues across marketing, sales, and product to make each event great. Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo Health, you will have: Built and executed an event calendar that contributed measurably to pipeline and customer engagement goals, including owned field events and industry conferences. Delivered an amazing Komodo Summit. Created a post-event measurement framework that connects event investment to pipeline outcomes, so we can make smarter decisions about where to invest next.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of B2B event management experience, with a strong track record executing high-quality trade show and owned field event programs at scale; healthcare, life sciences, or health tech experience strongly preferred.
  • AI-forward: You've actively experimented with AI to change how event planning gets done, not just to save time.
  • Unflappable: You handle chaos with resilience—problems at events don't rattle you, they activate you.
  • Deeply operational: You've personally owned RFPs, venue contracts, BEOs, AV production, multi-day event logistics, and budget management for large-scale programs.
  • Relentless attention to detail: You run the show, manage 15 things at once, and never let anything fall through the cracks.
  • Attendee-first: You think about how people feel at every touchpoint—not just whether the lights are on and the food arrived on time.
  • Strong collaborator: You know how to align sales, marketing, and executive stakeholders around event strategy, and you communicate clearly when priorities shift or problems come up.

Nice To Haves

  • CMP certification or equivalent professional development is a nice-to-have.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage Komodo's conference and event calendar, evaluating sponsorship and participation opportunities across healthcare and life sciences.
  • Partner with product marketing, sales, and revenue marketing to align event selection, objectives, and success metrics to business goals.
  • Write clear event briefs that define the target audience, the goals, how we plan to show up, and how we'll measure success.
  • Manage the events budget carefully, make smart tradeoffs, and bring clear investment recommendations to leadership.
  • Lead end-to-end execution of Komodo's presence at trade shows, company-hosted field events, and Komodo Summit—from initial concept through post-event close.
  • Design the attendee experience across every touchpoint: booth and environment, on-site activations, branded moments, executive dinners, and entertainment.
  • Own all logistics: venue sourcing and contracting, hotel room blocks, BEOs, F&B, AV production, floor plans, transportation, and on-site staffing.
  • Serve as the primary on-site lead and vendor point of contact—keep things running smoothly and solve problems quickly when they arise.
  • Partner with revenue marketing to make sure events are well-promoted and that attendee lists, follow-up cadences, and pipeline capture are tightly coordinated.
  • Work with product marketing to bring key messages and content into event experiences.
  • Manage vendor and agency relationships—production companies, AV partners, venues, hotels, and caterers—so quality, timelines, and contracts are always in good order.
  • Define and track KPIs across the portfolio: attendance, pipeline created and influenced, cost per attendee, and attendee satisfaction.
  • Deliver post-event reports that give the team clear visibility into event ROI and inform future investment decisions.
  • Build and maintain event playbooks, run-of-show documents, and operational checklists to help the team get sharper with every event.
