About The Position

The Senior ETL Developer plays a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise‑grade data integration solutions that support analytics, reporting, and operational decision‑making. In this role, you will leverage deep expertise in Informatica, SQL, and cloud‑based data platforms to build scalable, reliable ETL pipelines. You will collaborate closely with business partners, architects, and cross‑functional technology teams to integrate data across core enterprise systems while ensuring data quality, performance, and compliance. This position supports complex data initiatives within a regulated financial services environment.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of overall experience in software and data engineering within large enterprise environments.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Informatica (PowerCenter and/or IICS), including complex ETL design and development.
  • Strong expertise in ETL architecture, data warehousing concepts, data integration patterns, and advanced SQL with relational databases.
  • Practical experience integrating data with Salesforce and other enterprise systems, with working knowledge of Python for data processing or automation.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms and modern data ecosystems (Azure preferred), along with strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with middleware and integration technologies such as MuleSoft.
  • Prior experience in Life Insurance, Long‑Term Care, Annuities, or other regulated financial services environments.
  • Experience supporting enterprise data modernization or cloud migration initiatives.
  • Exposure to data governance, data quality, or regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to technical design discussions

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and/or IICS to support enterprise data integration and reporting needs.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines, transformations, and workflows aligned to data warehousing and integration best practices.
  • Partner with application and business teams to integrate data from Salesforce and other enterprise platforms.
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and optimization of ETL processes.
  • Contribute to cloud-based data initiatives and support continuous improvement of data engineering standards, documentation, and delivery practices.
