About The Position

We are looking for a passionate Senior ETL Developer - SSIS/Azure Data tools. The ETL Developer will be involved in developing solutions for enterprise data warehousing (EDW), reporting and business intelligence (SSIS/SSRS) initiatives. Work with business users and functional and development teams to collect, analyze, and document requirements. The role is responsible for designing, coding, testing, and scheduling ETL programs to support the enterprise and reporting data warehouse. Our ideal candidates are familiar with various data collection and visualization products and solutions and have hands-on experience with end-to-end development. SSIS/SSRS and MS Sql are required skills. Highly preferred skills include Azure Data Factory, Power Automate, Azure SQL Database Services, Blob, Data Lake, Data Bricks. Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience with ETL SSIS/SSRS development.
• 2 years' experience with Azure Data Tools is highly preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in software application development, information technology or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in related field required, or advanced degree with equivalent work experience.
• Understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
• Expert knowledge in SSIS, SSRS, and MS SQL queries.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, Tableau.
• Knowledge of at least one ERP system/functions such as SAP, Syspro, Oracle etc., is a plus but not required.
• Must have ability to translate requirements to technical implementation.
• Strong verbal communication skills and team collaboration consensus required.
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and with a team on simultaneous tasks in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Understand technical requirements and develop data models usable by users and efficient for ETLs.
• Organize, design, develop ETL workflows from heterogeneous data sources and dashboards for scalable, refreshable analysis and reporting.
• Assist with impact analysis of changing upstream processes to Data Warehouse and Reporting systems.
• Supporting analysts with data queries and dashboard creation used for business decision making and performance monitoring.
• Writes technical documentation (design specifications, data model diagrams, data flow diagrams, Configuration Management, Production Support documents etc.).
• Adhere to development standards, time tracking, policies and change management process.
• Monitors developed ETL processes in production, and trouble-shoots production problems when they occur.
