Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of Ethics, Human Resources, Investigations, Compliance or related experience; OR an Advanced degree and 7+ years of Ethics, Human Resources, Investigations, Compliance or related experience
  • US Citizenship is required, due to government contracts, programs and projects
  • Up to 25% Travel Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee Pratt & Whitney’s Ethics & Compliance program for the West Palm Beach, FL and Puerto Rico sites (as well as others as needed), functioning as an independent leader who reviews, evaluates, investigates and assesses ethics and compliance issues and concerns.
  • Reporting to the Deputy Global ECO, the candidate must be comfortable working independently and as part of an extended team (both cross functionally and matrixed) and collaborating seamlessly with colleagues and internal clients to deliver practical and compliant business solutions on complicated ethics and compliance issues.
  • Lead, manage and coordinate the efforts and work of Local Ethics & Compliance Officers within the Florida and Puerto Rico sites, and any investigators who work on matters within the Florida and Puerto Rico sites
  • Provide leadership and support in the development of programs, initiatives and policies for the Ethics & Compliance program to prevent and investigate illegal, unethical, or improper conduct by employees and third parties supporting P&W
  • Responsible for leading efforts to continually enhance and improve ethics and the “Speak Up” culture at the Florida and Puerto Rico sites
  • Participate in the development and support of efforts to operationalize ethics and compliance requirements at the Florida and Puerto Rico sites
  • Lead and participate in Ethics & Compliance initiatives, teams and committees as required, at both the P&W and RTX levels
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to mitigate and reduce compliance risk at the Florida and Puerto Rico sites, as well as assisting with other sites as needed
  • Be a regular, visible, approachable presence at noted locations with responsibility to visit other sites as needed for E&C support (including training, investigations, and other types of support)
  • Work with Human Resources (HR), other ECOs, investigators, Local ECOs or other Subject Matter Experts on matter investigations as necessary
  • Under the guidance and support of the Deputy Global ECO and/or the Director for GEC Investigations and Site HR, conduct timely investigation interviews and fact finding to ensure effective completion and closure of investigations and implementation of appropriate corrective actions and fair, consistent evaluations, including disciplinary measures (working with HR, Legal Counsel, Site Management and other stakeholders)
  • Support efforts to ensure proper reporting of violations to duly authorized enforcement agencies as appropriate
  • Adhere to and maintain a heightened awareness of the RTX Code of Conduct, always acting with integrity
  • Evaluate and provide guidance to employees related to compliance with policies and procedures including but not limited to the following: Outside Employment evaluations, Conflict of Interest questions, Annual Certification variant response reviews, Business Gift & Sponsorship requests
  • Coordinate and lead Compliance briefings for the Florida and Puerto Rico sites
