 Position Summary: 

The Sr. Estimator with Project Manager experience is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for foundation and civil construction projects while leveraging hands-on project management expertise. This role requires understanding foundation systems, concrete work, excavation, and civil construction processes to produce competitive bids and ensure successful project execution.

Requirements

• Proven experience in estimating foundation or civil construction projects
• Hands-on project management experience overseeing foundation work, concrete, and excavation
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs for foundation projects
• Proficiency with estimating software, spreadsheets, and project management tools
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and construction codes
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for foundation projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs
• Review project drawings, plans, and specifications to assess scope, challenges, and risks
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and field teams to ensure accurate and realistic estimates
• Utilize project management experience to evaluate scheduling, sequencing, and resource needs
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client consultations
• Analyze and track project costs, change orders, and budgets during execution
• Maintain historical project data, estimating templates, and bid documentation
• Provide recommendations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks
• Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and project success
• Support project execution by anticipating construction challenges and offering solutions
• Perform other job-related duties as requested by management.
