Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
At least 10 years of experience in competitive bid and conceptual budgeting
Thorough knowledge of construction industry practices, codes, and regulations
Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
Proficiency in estimating software (On-Screen and Sage Estimating is a plus) and Excel
Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
Analytical mindset with strong organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities

Organize and oversee estimating activities for assigned projects
Compile complete estimates under the supervision of the Director of Pre-Construction
Cultivate relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients
Mentor and coach Estimators within the Building Group
Lead preconstruction meetings and provide meeting minutes
Review and refine budgets, bids, proposals, and summaries
Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding value engineering and budget updates
Provide drawing reviews for constructability and value engineering
Develop and improve estimating procedures
