Butler Manufacturing is seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and strategic Senior Estimator to join our team. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in estimating, design, or project management
  • In lieu of degree , 10 years of experience in estimating, project management, or a related field
  • Experience in estimating pre-engineered building systems
  • Knowledge of structural design

Responsibilities

  • Develop Technical Estimates - Provide detailed cost evaluations for pre-engineered and hybrid buildings, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Support Sales & Engineering - Serve as a key resource in preconstruction efforts by preparing professional proposals, performing structural design assessments, and offering technical insights.
  • Assess Project Profitability & Risk - Evaluate potential projects to ensure alignment with financial goals, risk management strategies, and customer satisfaction.
  • Engage with Clients & Stakeholders - Communicate highly complex technical information with customers, internal teams, and external suppliers to support seamless project execution.
  • Optimize Cost & Efficiency - Utilize engineering software, brand processes, and pricing systems to generate precise estimates and innovative solutions.
  • Lead Knowledge Sharing - Train and mentor colleagues on estimating best practices, company products, and software tools to drive team excellence.
