About The Position
The Opportunity: We are representing a premier leader in industrial infrastructure and steel solutions. Due to a massive pipeline of upcoming projects, we are looking for a Senior Estimator to join their Irving-based team. What You’ll Be Doing: Project Scoping: Perform detailed quantity take-offs for large-scale industrial and commercial steel projects. Bid Management: Prepare comprehensive cost estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and engineers to identify value-engineering opportunities. Market Analysis: Stay ahead of material cost fluctuations to ensure competitive and profitable bidding.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of estimating experience specifically within Structural Steel or Industrial Construction.
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Sage, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- A strong understanding of the North Texas construction market and vendor landscape.
- An "analytical brain" that can spot a discrepancy in a blueprint from a mile away.
