About The Position

The Senior Estimator for Underground Utilities is a key role within a reputable company focused on Civil Infrastructure and Commercial General Contracting. This position involves managing and developing cost estimates for projects, assessing risks, and collaborating with clients and engineers to ensure project success. Requirements

• 10+ years' experience estimating Civil Infrastructure/Underground Utilities projects
• Well versed in all estimating principles including reviewing conceptual estimates
• Ability to communicate collaboratively; team player and balanced in approach
• Advanced computer skills with estimating software; Heavy Bid and excavating software is preferred
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Review and understand all documents and assess project risks
• Understand project logistics and project schedule
• Manage and develop cost estimates of 'at risk' projects including all material, labor, equipment, and general condition costs necessary to deliver a complete project
• Actively perform pre-construction duties and participate in meetings with clients, owners, and engineers
• Maintain a historical database of costs
