About The Position
Balfour Beatty Construction is seeking a Senior Estimator to join our team in Dallas, TX. This individual needs to be highly experienced when it comes to estimating the MEP portion of large construction projects. As a member of the preconstruction/estimating team, this individual will be responsible for independently preparing sections of schematic, design development and construction document estimates including soliciting and evaluating subcontractor bids and scopes of work, preparing quantity surveys and reviewing project plans and specifications for all CSI (Construction Specific Institute) categories of work. They may periodically supervise the work of other junior estimators, PE's intern/co-ops students as well. This member of the preconstruction/estimating team will prepare budgets, estimates and pre-bid packages for construction projects to be built for clients.
