About The Position

We're looking for a Senior Estimator who brings both analytical rigor and collaborative problem-solving to high-stakes projects valued up to $150 million. What sets this role apart: Our estimating team stays focused. You won't be stretched across unrelated responsibilities—your expertise will be dedicated to creating accurate, defensible estimates from day one, backed by our extensive historical data and self-perform trade knowledge. The Role: You'll provide estimating services for conceptual and hard bid work across diverse contract types, with a focus on complex commercial and institutional projects.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of estimating experience on commercial/institutional projects up to $150 million
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent technical training and experience)
  • Experience with self-perform work and at-risk GC/CM delivery methods
  • Project expertise in sectors such as healthcare, life sciences, higher education, food & beverage manufacturing, data centers, or similar complex facilities
  • Strong command of estimating software, cost control systems, and engineering disciplines
  • Ability to work independently on complex proposals while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills for partnering with preconstruction teams, project teams, architects, and subcontractors

  • 5-7 years of solid estimating experience and readiness to take on more complex work

Responsibilities

  • Review proposal specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to determine scope and estimate requirements
  • Develop conceptual, self-perform, hard bid, and GMP estimates for complex projects
  • Create detailed quantity takeoffs and man-hour-based estimates using historical data from purchase orders, subcontracts, and productivity analysis
  • Provide risk analysis input, constructability reviews, and value engineering support during preconstruction
  • Collaborate with operations teams during bid evaluation and subcontractor selection
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation to support all estimate figures
