About The Position

HCA Healthcare is seeking an experienced ERP Data Architect to join our team. The ERP Data Architect will be responsible for designing the data infrastructure to extract and organize data for authorized individuals to access. The candidate will be responsible for identifying the company's internal and external data sources, collaborating with data owners to determine their data storage and organizational needs, and using the information to create and maintain data infrastructure. This position is within an ERP team that operates on multiple initiatives across the departments. The candidate must be comfortable in moving to different technical ecosystems from project to project that will require discovery and adaptation to systems, teams, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field or equivalent experience - Required.
  • 7 or more years of experience in software development or engineering roles - Required.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills - Required.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team to specific outcomes - Required.
  • Advanced SQL skills including complex query design and stored procedure development - Required.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex data insights to the stakeholders - Required.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with complex and large data sets - Required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines - Required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in reporting and analytical tools such as Power BI, and Tableau - Preferred.
  • Experience in cloud computing platforms and their associated services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud - Preferred.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, R and Perl for data manipulation, transformation and analysis - Preferred.
  • Experience with diagramming tools (e.g. Visio) - Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing complex data sets to provide useful insights that aid in business decision-making.
  • Identifying installation solutions for new databases.
  • Determining the requirements for a new database.
  • Publishing and/or presenting design reports.
  • Identifying areas for improvement in current systems.
  • Coordinating with other team members to reach project milestones and deadlines.
  • Auditing database regularly to maintain quality.
  • Creating systems to keep data secure.
  • Building trust and productive working relationships with the business teams.
  • Staying current with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and reporting.
