About The Position

At NorthBay Health, the Sr. Epic Willow Inpatient Clinical Systems Analyst is responsible for the support, configuration, optimization, and maintenance of the Epic Willow inpatient pharmacy module, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective medication management workflows. This role collaborates closely with inpatient clinicians, pharmacists, IT services, and operational leaders to gather requirements, analyze needs, design solutions, and support ongoing enhancements within the Epic electronic health record system. The analyst champions standardization, change management, and adoption of new Willow features, with a focus on minimizing manual processes, optimizing medication safety, and improving the experience for clinical staff and patients. The Sr. Epic Willow Inpatient Clinical Systems Analyst will provide guidance, mentorship, and oversight to junior Epic analysts and may partner with Physician Builders and Clinical Pharmacist Builders to support build activities and inpatient workflow optimization. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent (8 years) in experience in healthcare IT field.
  • Current California State Board of Pharmacy Registration license.
  • Current Epic certification in two or more clinical applications or advanced Epic certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Minimum 5 - 8 years' experience with Epic or other EHR administration.
  • Knowledge of related systems, understanding of HL7, interoperability concepts, and healthcare IT concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring team members and leading small projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Board certification preferred.
  • Clinical licensing or certification preferred such as RN, Pharmacy Tech, et al.

Benefits

  • $80 to $106 per hour based on years of experience doing the duties of the role.
