Job Description Summary: Performs hard floor and carpet care related to tasks adhering to established techniques and standards in patient care and ancillary areas and/or possesses ability to perform service call cleaning in specialized areas of the Hospital. Performs heavy lifting of trash and linen at least 40% of work shift and /or is considered the primary assignment for management of biohazardous waste. All tasks follow established department policies and procedures maintaining or exceeding standards of cleanliness on sanitation as set forth by Marin County, the California Department of Public health and The Joint Commission.
