Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Full-time, Night Shift, Senior Environmental Services Technician (Team Lead). Hours/Shift: 11 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., and work every other weekend. The Senior Environmental Services Technician plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This position combines hands-on service with functional supervision of environmental services staff to ensure high-quality standards are consistently met in assigned areas. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining assigned areas and equipment in clean and orderly condition, ensuring an appropriate and sanitary environment. As a leader within the Environmental Services team, you will also provide training, guidance, and support to colleagues, contributing to a positive and collaborative work culture. Sentara Norfolk General Hospital , located in Norfolk, VA, is a 525-bed tertiary care facility that is home to the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads, and also serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School. In addition to the high-quality heart program at Sentara Heart Hospital, our facility is home to Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance and several other dedicated facilities and specialized services.
