DRMP is seeking a full-time Senior Environmental Scientist for our Tampa Office. If you have 5-10 years of experience with Florida ecology, natural resource management, and environmental permitting; and you enjoy: Field investigations (wetland delineations/assessments, threatened and endangered species surveys, ecological monitoring) Environmental permitting National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation Environmental monitoring/inspections Client Marketing We’d love to hear from you. The successful candidate will be part of an interdisciplinary team comprised of engineers, scientists and planners focused on existing client support and new business development. The preferred candidate will enjoy a variety of working conditions ranging from field efforts to office analysis; report writing; agency interactions, and the development of permit applications and mitigation plans. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual with strong writing and technical skills to excel in a team environment. Field duties will include leading efforts in field sampling and assessment, data collection, and field equipment operation associated with environmental permitting projects. Office duties will include data analysis and management, report writing, preparation of permit documentation, client coordination, and marketing efforts.
