Requirements
- BS Environmental Engineering or similar degree with 3 or more years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Responsible to ensure safety amongst associates in the facility relating to chemical, weather, environmental, machine safety or ergonomics. Values safety for yourself and others around you.
- Provide oversight and direction for day-to-day compliance with applicable air, hazardous waste, wastewater and storm water permits, plans, regulations, etc.
- Ability to interpret environmental laws and permit requirements, stay abreast of the changing regulatory landscape and analyze the various options for complying with new regulations and permit requirements.
- Conduct IH testing as needed/required
- Provide training for associates to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permit requirements.
- Lead plant in maintaining ISO 14001 certification and ensuring continued compliance.
- Ensure all work performed complies with all environmental and hazardous waste procedures, plans, policies and requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
