Burns & McDonnell is looking for a Stormwater Engineer with a wide variety of related experience to add to our Environmental Engineering team. As a professional within our Environmental Services Practice, this position will support the development and growth of our stormwater engineering related services and engineering team as well as participate in a wide variety of environmental engineering projects. The successful candidate will be highly self-motivated with a strong commitment to making our clients successful. The candidate will have the following experience: Performing design of environmental systems and facilities from the conceptual phase through design completion and construction. Working with project teams throughout the design and construction process, adapting environmental plans, designs, and production drawings according to budget constraints, regulatory requirements, or client needs. Researching and compiling of project-related data as required by the project managers. Leading and supporting environmental or civil projects or tasks which may include earthwork/grading, stormwater, wastewater, remediation, waste management, and restoration. Preparing reports, studies, and cost estimates to help clients evaluate options and provide solutions. Project management duties such as developing and executing project scope, budget, schedule, quality, safety, and managing client expectations. Provide construction phase support and preparation of construction quality assurance (CQA) reports. Training / mentoring staff. Developing new and maintaining existing client and regulatory relationships. Other duties, as assigned.
