Who are we looking for? Our Central Region Environmental businesses in both Baton Rouge , Louisiana and Houston , Texas are looking for a Senior Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist to join their team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the future of our Contamination Assessment & Remediation service line through the coordination and implementation of a wide range of environmental solutions and projects. This role can be based on either Baton Rouge, LA or Houston, TX . Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting including environmental remediation and site assessments, report writing, data management & interpretation, project coordination, and managing clients
  • Experience in coordinating and simultaneously managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail in a consulting environment is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently
  • Ability work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability and willingness to travel client meetings is required

Nice To Haves

  • PE or PG will be highly regarded
  • Project experience in federal contracts beneficial
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification a plus

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of technical correspondence, project proposals, reports, work plans, and project specifications
  • Coordinate and implement project permitting
  • Interpretation/evaluation of environmental regulations
  • Data compilation, reduction, and interpretation
  • Management of clients
  • Development of business opportunities
  • Mentorship of staff
