Our Central Region Environmental businesses is looking for a Senior Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist to join their team in Baton Rouge, LA; Houston, TX, Dallas, TX or Golden, CO. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the future of our Contamination Assessment & Remediation service line through the coordination and implementation of a wide range of environmental solutions and projects. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
Requirements
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related field
- 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting including environmental remediation and site assessments, report writing, data management & interpretation, project coordination, and managing clients
- Experience in coordinating and simultaneously managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail in a consulting environment is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently
- Ability work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability and willingness to travel client meetings is required
Nice To Haves
- PE or PG will be highly regarded
- Project experience in federal contracts beneficial
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification a plus
Responsibilities
- Preparation of technical correspondence, project proposals, reports, work plans, and project specifications
- Coordinate and implement project permitting
- Interpretation/evaluation of environmental regulations
- Data compilation, reduction, and interpretation
- Management of clients
- Development of business opportunities
- Mentorship of staff
