AECOM is actively seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Compliance Coordinator/Deputy Project Manager to join our Environmental Planning & Permitting group in southern California. This role is an exciting opportunity to support industry leading projects and programs for a variety of client sectors. This is a hybrid role and can be based in any of our California offices, including Oakland, Sacramento, San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles, and San Luis Obispo. Experience and expertise in California environmental compliance and ecology is required. This position will provide office-based oversight to environmental compliance efforts involving natural resources, cultural, paleontological, hazardous materials stormwater monitoring, and air quality. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience with overseeing and implementing most or all of these disciplines and excel at verbal and written communication and organization. Projects will be complex, large-scale and varied in sector. The role will support large teams in a fast-paced work environment on all stages of a project including constraints, environmental clearance and permitting, compliance and close out. Under the guidance of the Project Manager, deputy project management tasks will also be completed, including subcontractor coordination, invoice review, progress report preparation, and tracking of schedules, hours, and budgets across the team.
