The Senior Entertainment Analyst is responsible for review & validating box office statements, prepare preliminary and final settlements for live entertainment shows (for both Resident Shows and Special Events) covering contractual provisions and show expenses. HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY Maintains organized records to respond quickly and effectively to ad hoc questions as well as to meet all internal accounting and financial controls. Audit the validity, accuracy and timeliness of data information and reconciling this data to the company records. Payment Processing and Tactical Accounting Implementation Maintain internal views of show profitability, ad hoc ticketing analysis, settlement & profitability analysis, reconcile settlement data to P&L results and verify P&L accuracy, analyze new show deal structures and contractual terms. Prepares management reports which reflect clear, accurate and concise data analysis. Creates dynamic financial models to analyze deal structures and economics quickly and efficiently. Drills into large data sources (primarily Ticketmaster/ticketing and Access) to summarize and analyze show results Analyzes financial reports and records, making recommendations for improvement of show results based on settlement and P&L data Accurately maintains accounting records for the prescribed time periods. Assists in assembling information for various local, state and federal audits and assists auditors as necessary Provides analytical support for annual budgeting and forecasting
