Who you are: As a Senior Enterprise Security Engineer, you are responsible for developing processes and procedures to ensure the security of Frost Bank’s network infrastructure. You will thoroughly investigate and test for vulnerabilities affecting firewalls, servers, desktops, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems, wireless, and VPN technologies. You believe in effective communication and will have the opportunity to address potential problems and solutions to complex issues.

Requirements

  • 6+ years as a network and/or security engineer in a corporate environment
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of infrastructure and security technologies to include: firewalls, Windows & UNIX based servers, workstations, mobile devices, SIEM, proxy and IDS/IPS systems
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft computer applications

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • CISSP, CISA, GIAC (GSEC, GCIA, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a methodology for managing information security incidents, along with establishing procedures for incident response
  • Create Vulnerability test and solutions for software and hardware using both security and open licensed tools
  • Design, implement and oversee performance indicators and reporting mechanism to ensure system compliance
  • Provide technical direction regarding IT Security standards for infrastructure configuration
  • Create technical risk evaluation reports on new technologies and applications
  • Coordinate remediation efforts with multiple stakeholders to ensure security compliance
  • Maintain knowledge of security threats and vulnerabilities
  • Assist with the deployment and upkeep of security software and tools
  • Provide guidance and support to members of the security team
