Senior Enterprise Sales Executive - Banking & Financial Services - 27767438 Western US (Remote - CA Preferred) About The Company Our client is a high-growth, open-source technology leader with $100M in revenue and 800 employees worldwide. They deliver a modular, cloud-native integration platform that helps enterprises connect, manage, and secure APIs, applications, and identities across hybrid environments. With offices in San Francisco/Santa Clara, they are expanding their presence in the Western US market. The Opportunity We're seeking a hunter-minded Enterprise Sales Executive to drive expansion in the Banking & Financial Services vertical across the Western US. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is ready to make their mark with a company that values innovation over bureaucracy. Territory: Western US (BFSI) + US/Canada (IAM overlay) Quota: $1.2M ARR Average Deal Size: $250K (ranging from $100K initial deals with expansion potential) Sales Cycle: 6-9 months

Requirements

  • 7+ years of enterprise software sales experience with proven track record of quota attainment
  • 3+ years of deep Banking/Financial Services vertical expertise (traditional banking/finance, NOT fintech)
  • Strong understanding of integration, middleware, API management, or IAM technologies
  • Experience selling complex, technical solutions with 6-9 month sales cycles
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate enterprise organizations and engage C-level executives
  • Hunter mentality - you're energized by building pipeline and closing new business

  • Experience at companies like: Apigee, Google, Oracle, Mulesoft, Kong, TIBCO, Informatica, Boomi, SnapLogic, Software AG, Axway, SmartBear, Postman, Gravitee, Workato, Celigo, Jitterbit, or similar integration/API/middleware vendors
  • While relevant vendor experience is valuable, we prioritize Banking & Financial Services vertical expertise above all.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, selling company's complete integration platform (API management, integration, IAM/Identity solutions)
  • Target enterprise accounts in Banking & Financial Services, engaging CTOs, SVPs of Enterprise Architecture, CISOs, IAM Teams, and API/Integration Leads
  • Build strategic relationships within complex financial institutions, understanding their integration challenges and positioning company's open-source solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Engineering (9 SEs across North America), SDRs, Product teams, and Marketing
  • Drive new logo acquisition while identifying expansion opportunities within existing accounts
