About The Position

The Senior Enterprise Cloud Architect</b> is responsible for designing and governing enterprise -level architecture across hybrid and multi -cloud environments, aligning technology strategy with business, financial, and regulatory requirements. This role translates complex business needs into scalable, secure, and resilient cloud and AI -enabled solutions spanning Azure, AWS, and GCP platforms. The architect leads cloud migration strategies, develops detailed solution designs, risk profiles, financial models, and Statements of Work, and ensures adherence to organizational standards and compliance frameworks. Serving as a trusted advisor, this role provides subject matter expertise in AI/ML and generative AI initiatives, while collaborating closely with stakeholders to deliver industry -leading enterprise solutions.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience architecting enterprise application solutions across on -premises and cloud infrastructure.
  • 10 years of experience architecting solutions in one or more cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • 8 years of experience developing cloud -native architectures using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS service models.
  • 8 years of hands -on experience across Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning solutions using Azure, AWS, or Google technologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with a Health and Human Services (HHS) agency.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks, encryption, identity and access management (IAM), and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge of API design and management, including RESTful and SOAP services.
  • Experience with microservices and serverless architectures.
  • Experience leveraging cloud -based AI/ML services such as Azure Machine Learning, AWS SageMaker, or Google Vertex AI.
  • Cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain enterprise architecture across hybrid on -premises and multi -cloud environments.
  • Develop scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure aligned with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
  • Evaluate existing infrastructure and create detailed cloud migration strategies, including timelines and resource planning.
  • Architect AI/ML, deep learning, and generative AI solutions mapped to Azure, AWS, or GCP services.
  • Construct detailed solution designs encompassing process, technology, staffing, and financial models for complex services proposals.
  • Develop risk assessments and corresponding remediation plans for enterprise cloud and AI initiatives.
  • Author Statements of Work (SOW) and related documentation outlining scope, deliverables, and technical architecture.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, cloud security frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into enterprise -grade technical solutions.
  • Follow organizational standard operating procedures related to cost modeling, approvals, governance, and solution documentation.
