About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Senior Enterprise Architect within our Business & Technology Strategy Practice. The Senior Enterprise Architect is a strategic technical client project leadership role reporting to the Director of Business & Technology Strategy. This individual will be a member of the Enterprise Architecture organization responsible for developing enterprise architecture strategy across primarily healthcare clients (potentially others) and aligning within the TEKsystems Architecture Guild. The Senior Enterprise Architect will combine a deep understanding of technology, applications, industry best practices, business processes and architectural patterns to align and drive business and IT transformation initiatives that meet our enterprise objectives. In this role, you will collaborate with industry leadership, business and technology leaders, stakeholders, engineers, and analysts to understand strategic business initiatives and develop technical solutions that satisfy those needs. This individual is a take charge professional that has extensive knowledge in healthcare as well as in multiple business and architecture domains, forward thinking, and is well-versed in emerging technologies and trends. Must possess the excellent interpersonal skills necessary to articulate the value of a strong enterprise architecture function to critical business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degrees (Master’s, Ph.D.) preferred.
  • 10 or more years of broad and relevant business and IT Experience
  • 7 or more years of broad healthcare experience knowledge (Payer & Provider)
  • 5 or more years in enterprise architecture, solution design, and technical leadership roles
  • 3 or more years in IT consulting and IT services organizations
  • Certification from Lean IX, TOGAF, MODAF, DODAF, Business Architect Guild, or equivalent preferred
  • Proven track record in building, leading, and successfully implementing architecture and strategy for large scale IT modernization
  • Champions portfolio to enterprise level strategic initiatives across multiple business units
  • Develop and maintain strategies and solutions for the enterprise in collaboration with executive leadership across the business and IT
  • Demonstrates thought leadership influencing one or more business units and has a tangible impact on the strategic direction of enterprise initiatives
  • Experience within the healthcare landscape and broad understanding of business problems, objectives, and potential solutions
  • Understanding and experience with enterprise transformation and the ability to see the big picture and connect the dots within an organization
  • Familiarity with building strategies that include AI and Gen AI implementations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in understanding enterprise architecture methodologies and ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into architectural solutions
  • Senior level architect who champions and continuously contributes to the advancement of the architecture operating model, governance, processes, policies, standards, and framework for the enterprise architecture capability
  • Has strong competencies and exhibits strong thought leadership in digital architecture domain, including digital applications, modern web app architecture, mobility architecture, cloud-native application architecture, micro-services architecture, integration, and interoperability
  • Broad understanding of Business Architecture, Data Architecture, Data Analytics, Integration Architecture, DevOps, Release Management, Infrastructure Platform Engineering and Cloud Operating models
  • Use repeatable architecture frameworks and processes to enable complex cross-functional initiatives related to major business initiatives
  • Understanding of application design & integration methods and tools
  • Understanding of in-depth business processes and how they are interconnected with systems and people
  • Familiarity with BPMN Files and how to work with them
  • Experience in using EA tools like Lean IX
  • Experience working with Business Process Tools such as Camunda and UiPath
  • Possesses the excellent interpersonal skills necessary to articulate the value of a strong enterprise architecture function to critical business stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients as a trusted advisor to understand their business goals, challenges, and strategic priorities and how they relate to their enterprise Architecture and potential transformational initiatives
  • Drive & facilitate and/or participate in strategy and planning workshops with key stakeholders and customers to pinpoint areas of value
  • Provides comprehensive analytical thinking to ensure transformation costs, impact, and value are properly understood, estimated, and controlled across people, processes, and technology
  • Collaborates with customers, vendors, industry consultants, and company leadership to continuously learn and identify opportunities to advance our technology strategy and provide value for customers
  • Drive innovation and the adoption of best practices in business & transformation strategy development, modern enterprise architecture frameworks
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and strategic investment
  • Provide recommendations on technology adoption and implementation strategies based on client’s unique needs and outline architectural vision
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of enterprise architecture technology blueprints that articulate the client’s business strategy, future state business and technology architecture, and multiyear execution roadmap within an account
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of client’s current IT infrastructure and systems as it relates to their processes to identify areas for improvement, perform maturity analysis of key IT enablers
  • Leverage in-depth expertise in enterprise IT space, staying updated on the latest advancements on tools and services available in the market and guiding the team in applying best practices to build offering that can be delivered to customers at scale
  • Collaborates with other architects (Enterprise, Practice, & Client) to create and document standards and patterns that can be leveraged for future re-use and actively seek opportunities to leverage industry solutions for new business offerings and services
  • Develops and maintains the reference architecture which includes the reference models for enterprise platforms, data and applications and databases, guiding principles, standards, patterns, and usage guidelines
  • Create contextual and conceptual models that help document and simplify potentially complex topics
  • Understanding of Information Architecture of Information Architecture
  • Manages the creation and maintenance of models that identify interdependencies between application, information, and technologies
  • Work with Agentic AI and tools such as UiPath and Camunda to build out processes and create agents
