Job Description SUMMARY: The Engineering Technician will be responsible for assisting in various projects within the Linear Accelerator R&D group in Sunnyvale, California. Primary duties will include assembling, modifying, instrumenting, and repairing prototype microwave linear accelerator systems that are under development for cancer therapy products. Individual will work closely with team of engineers to perform tests on these systems, maintaining and improving the workspaces where these systems are located. He/She will assist staff with various product development tasks including procurement, documentation, following quality procedures, etc. REPORTING TO/DEPARTMENT: Reports to the Microwave & Linac Engineering Manager in the Linear Accelerator R&D Department.
