Caterpillar's Integrated Components and Solutions Division is currently seeking a Mining Technology Product Engineering Project Lead for Caterpillar Mining Safety Systems primarily responsible for Driver Safety Systems (DSS). As the project leads, you will be responsible for deliverables in new product development, continuous product improvement, new technology development of the DSS technical team. The incumbent must have strong technical and analytical skills, good communication and project management skills, a broad technical knowledge base, strong engineering judgement, and demonstrated team leadership skills. The incumbent must have the ability to interface with mining customers tactfully and with technical competence. The engineering project lead must be able to build relationships and partnerships with product support, commercial teams, strategy teams, process owners and customers to provide exceptional service. Serving the product support teams and customers well is what provides best in class value for the MineStar solution. This position is also responsible for providing technical support to customers. There are frequent and regular interactions with customers and end users.
