Supporting highly technical and customized engineering solutions, the Senior Engineering Project Manager will oversee the scope, schedule, and budget of highly complex engineered projects that help PAR deliver premier custom automation solutions. From robotic advanced manufacturing systems to fully automated assembly systems, the work you do will ensure the wellbeing of our customers around the world. Success Criteria: You've found a passion for technology, complex systems, and the ingenuity it takes to bring customers ideas to life. With oversight of project execution, you'll utilize your project leadership skills and build strong credibility as you drive projects from initiation through closure. You will lead a multi-disciplined team of engineers, technicians, and others through design, assembly, and testing. Our projects are often custom, so being able to incorporate your technical experience, along with historical data from disparate sources is mission critical. Our customers expect quality, and so do we. As the primary customer contact, your skills in communication, negotiation, and problem solving will help ensure joint success. Navigating contract compliance, change orders, and delivery, the work you do will bring new opportunities for growth at a global scale. Lastly, you will be integral to continuous improvement of our processes and execution. Your ability to apply project learnings to our organizational systems will enhance overall project execution, improve the accuracy of future project proposals, and boost productivity in similar subsequent projects.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other technical area preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in an engineering or project manager role, preferably in a project based engineering organization.
  • Knowledge of how large scale engineering projects are scheduled and executed.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office tools, with experience in MS Project preferred.
  • Well-developed communication skills and the ability to maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with teams.
  • Able to travel up to 20% of the time
